Driving an old-timer car is a very special experience. The Trabant is an old-timer by definition, but seeing as how it represent 70’s German car manufacture, it really feels its age, which only makes it more of treat to drive.
Basically thrown together these babies have been around for 40 years now, but still run, though we would hesitate to say smoothly.
You have to take a real effort to get ‘em going, but the sound and sense of no speed will make you wonder what driving really means. A highly recommended and often requested activity, Trabant driving is a great addition to any stag do.
